Here's what the readers are saying about the Authentic Promotion® Ezine:

My friend suggested that there were ways to stay authentic and still attract business
A friend told me about your ezine when we got into a discussion about how much I hate "selling my art" because it makes me feel smarmy. My friend suggested that there were ways to stay authentic and still attract business. And one of her suggestions was to subscribe to your newsletter.  She was right on about your work!  You always remind me to stop, consider mindfully what feels authentic to me, and then to move forward. And your articles do this on all kinds of levels, considering different aspects of business, self-motivation, sales, etc.

Your newsletter makes me feel less like an alien, reminds me that I am allowed to follow my heart in my work and is teaching me how to successfully promote my work without being smarmy.  I’m sure most of artists would greatly benefit from becoming a reader!

An ezine for people who resist the contrived, "artificially sincere" hype in most other ezines
I do appreciate 'down to earth' quality of Molly’s ezine, and I have a clear feeling that it grows as Molly grows.  I’m so thankful for sharing the insights from Molly's own experiences, links to truly interesting others who have something really substantial to offer, and a really thought-provoking article in each issue, with some really practical ideas to apply in my own life.

Who would get the most benefit from becoming a reader?  People who already have a 'successful enough' business who need help to make it truly thrive. People who resist the contrived, 'artificially sincere' hype in most other ezines.

Anyone who has, or wants their own business but loathes to get into marketing for fear of having to become a television-used-car-salesman type will benefit from Molly’s ezine
What I like about Molly’s ezine best of all is the tone. I also like the plethora of useful information, and the useful links! I have found that the Molly Sniff Test is truly valuable in locating the kind of marketing information that moves me. I LOVE that you don't pressure me with those annoying charts that show what "free" stuff you get with the standard or premium purchase! I feel you are "right there" when I am ready to purchase but not pressured to do so.

Molly's advice is so useful that I often forward the ezine to all the artists I know, and often discuss articles with them via email.

I became a subscriber because Molly sounded like a heart-centered person with her feet firmly on the ground. I thought a person like that could help me to learn to market my art without feeling I was pushing or begging. I have gained even more than I hoped from these ezines! I have found the information and advice so useful that I often forward the ezine to all the artists I know, and often discuss articles with them via email. I now feel it is necessary to get my art "out there" where it can benefit those who need it!

I appreciate Molly’s support for my hope that marketing doesn't have to be a nasty business, connecting me to teachers like Byron Katie and Mike Dooley and to an apolitical global village -- here in New Zealand, it is easy to feel out of touch with the world and appalled by its business tactics!

Anyone who has, or wants their own business but loathes getting into marketing for fear of having to become a television-used-car-salesman type will certainly benefit from Molly’s ezine!

Your ezine provokes thought and gives a healthy perspective about money
I subscribed to your ezine because I liked your style of coaching. I feel as though we are like-minded. I expected to learn from you, and I have not been disappointed! Your ezine provokes thought and applies to the ways I do business as a coach. Your writing is very insightful, and I like the conversational, real-life content.

I believe your ezine is a great fit for small business owners without a strong support team and anybody with money health issues.

Keep fighting the good fight - you make a significant difference in people's lives! As a fellow coach, I am naturally drawn to all things coaching. I am building a new practice and really appreciate your advice.

Charrise McCrorey, Certified Business Coach, Elkhart, IN www.emergencebiz.com

When I'm 'wavering', which is something we all do from time to time when building a business, I go back to your word
Hi Molly, I look forward to receiving your ezine because you offer a balanced perspective, useful reminders that self-promotion and selling our services is okay, and encouragement to make choices about who we really want to be and what we want to do, and to reflect and persevere. So when I'm 'wavering', which is something we all do from time to time when building a business, I go back to your word - authentic and remind myself what that is for me.

I have been a subscriber for more than 3 years and I still enjoy your ezine. It's the only one I've kept my subscription to specifically because you haven't gone to the 'hype' place that so many (coaches) do.

Thank you for a constant reminder that you're out there. It helps me get to know you... so when I do need a certain kind of help I'm quite sure you'll be the person I choose to support me. I love seeing your book promoted at the side all the time. I recommend it when I have occasion to do so, and am grateful because you shared chapters before it was published. Your ezine IS authentic, your personality shines through. And from a content perspective, it's not 'hyped' up and it's not formulaic.

I think your content is p-e-r-f-e-c-t for solo/micro self-employed and those I call 'accidental entrepreneurs’ or ‘the creatively self-employed' (Me and my niches).

If you haven't done so, subscribe. That's the clue!

Now, I receive tons of ezines and yours is one of the few I actually read through because I know it will be worth my time
Someone directed me to your ezine several years ago and I started to receive it. Back then, I was not yet an "accidental entrepreneur" but was heading in that direction, so I didn't read your e-zine regularly. Now, I receive tons of ezines and yours is one of the few I actually read through because I know it will be worth my time. It always gives me a tasty morsel of perspective to chew on for awhile and to ponder its relevance to my own life and work. As I begin to consider how I'd like to create my own e-ine, yours is one of the few that I imagine will most inspire and inform me.

Your articles have a wonderful depth and nuance to them. You do far more than write about general topics like "beliefs". It's clear that you've really deeply experienced and reflected on your topics. And I appreciate how skillfully you make them relevant to the situations and challenges faced by your readers. You show up in all of your humanness, willing to be vulnerable without shame or apology. I appreciate how you weave your own story into the topic you're exploring, revealing your tender heart, the depth of your perceptions, your own limitations, and what you've learned from it all.

You clearly have great insight and wisdom to offer and you do it with humility. I like how you review products that have been helpful to you, like Holosync, Wild Divine, etc. I love the concept of the "accidental entrepreneur" and I imagine that concept speaks to many people who will benefit most from becoming a reader.

This eZine is for any solo-entrepreneur who wants more than just gushy stuff. Someone who likes to hear it as it is.
Your eZine landed in my mail box - I guess it was referred by someone, and I’ve been your faithful reader ever since. I'm interested in the eZine because of Molly’s humanity and straight talk - so much of this stuff is gushy or "have I got a deal for you" and then it’s all the same. Any solo-entrepreneur who wants more than just gushy stuff; someone who likes to hear it as it is will certainly benefit from Molly’s eZine.

The eZine offers perspectives and discussion that I don't find elsewhere
I love to read your articles, follow your thinking, keep up with tips and trends. I have taken a course from you and I like to keep connected. I would like to take another one at some point.

I love your honesty and perspective on work, business, life, "self-improvement", integral thinking, the self-help culture, coaching, etc.

I would certainly recommend your eZine to people who run their own businesses or are individual entrepeneurs. I work and coach in a large organization and I find it useful as well.
You are a great writer and thinker. The eZine offers perspectives and discussion that I don't find elsewhere.

I have used the ezine to improve or understand my personal life
I expected this ezine to provide information about possibly starting a coaching business. Since making the decision to not have a coaching practice I have used the ezine to improve or understand my personal life. For now, I have been a subscriber for five years. The regularity and personal touch make this ezine a valuable addition to my inbox and reading. New ideas or ways of thinking are benefits. Only today, 5-23-07, I had an "AHA" moment while reading the "Does Working for Yourself Have to Be Lonely?" article  that clearly stated a vague feeling I've had recently about marketing. I believe this will be helpful as I meet with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center next week.

I would definitely recommend this ezine not only to small business owners but also to individuals seeking personal growth.

An eZine for Entrepreneurs who want to look a little further in how things and minds work
I have been a subscriber for more than three years, and love your eZine for your upbeat ideas, your humor, your honesty to share, your beautiful language, your great suggestions, your links to interesting people, sites and eBooks.

It gives me good insights and perspectives on how to view certain issues, and it lifts my spirit!

Innovative thinking - Encouragement - Resources
Molly, you are my role model for energetic embrace of an important topic. Love getting your ezines! Any entrepreneur who wants to make a difference in the world would benefit from your innovative thinking.

I really look forward to receiving the ezine as I know it will really bring something to brighten my day or make me think!
What I like most about the Authentic Promotion ezine is the honesty in your writing and knowing you are in the same boat as a lot of us. I really look forward to receiving the ezine as I know it will really bring something to brighten my day or make me think! Thanks for producing such a great one.

Ann Brosnan, Business and Personal Coach, Alton, Hampshire, UK www.dreamcatcher-lifecoaching.co.uk

Molly, thanks so much for practical concepts that I can apply directly to my business and life, and a sense that my struggles aren't unique. (That's comforting!)

Sarah Flack, Kindermusik Educator, Laredo, Texas http://sarahf.kindermusik.net

I love that you incorporate spiritual principles into business and you are clear that being aligned with ourselves and working to attract the right clients is what is most helpful. All micro-business people with a spiritual orientation (which most artists actually do have), as well as organizations that train new and potential business owners would greatly benefit from reading your ezine!

Diane Clancy, Artist, Greenfield, MA www.dianeclancy.com/blog

I subscribed because of Molly. I took one of her Authentic Promotions class and really liked her. Her ezine is like she is -- honest. Molly has a different perspective that I haven't read elsewhere. I always feel connected to what she writes. A lot of articles make me feel like Molly is reading my mind. I relate to what she is saying because I am feeling it too – and I get a new perspective.

An eZine for introverted types with great gifts/talents that are underutilized
What I like most about Molly’s ezine is demystification of any negative stereotypes of selling. Selling is a good thing, selling can be done with integrity, it's important to sell yourself – learning this is the biggest benefit I get from reading the ezine. Thanks for following your path and sharing it with us.

Anyone who wants to be in satisfying and fulfilling business will love your ezine
Over five years I have observed your passion for learning with provocative, intense questioning of yourself and what you observe. You tell the compassionate truth and invite your clients and colleagues to honestly challenge their thinking and actions. I love clarity and frank conversations from the ever-expanding mind of Molly! I cannot imagine anyone who would not benefit from reading your ezine -- however, they may not realize the benefits until they awaken in the middle of the night and realize what is at the core of their sleepless nights. ;-) Entrepreneurs, small business owners, educators, health and wellness professionals, etc, etc -- anyone who wants to be in satisfying and fulfilling business will love your ezine.

Elizabeth Crouch, Executive and Leadership Coach, Kinesiology and Wellness Professional, Edmonds, WA

Molly is so honest about her own life and struggles to live authentically. No pretense. I really like that and Encouragement Sparks for new ideas as well!  I'm a director of a Pregnancy Center and we are starting a home. I find I can use the ideas and encouragement in Molly's newsletters for sharing about our ministries.

Cindy Rhudy, Director of Crisis Pregnancy Center, Emporia, Kansas www.shilohhomeofhope.org

Your ezine is one of several I still subscribe to after years
I like the conversational tone, great insights, and manageable size. The three biggest benefits I get from reading the ezine: 1. new ideas 2. laughter (I love your style, and how you don't take yourself too seriously) 3. the reminder that being yourself is very alluring to readers. Any professional person who recognizes that there is more to life and work than just trying to follow the rules... and who are willing to loosen their grip on what is "true" for them and see things in new ways would benefit from becoming a reader. Thanks, Molly, for your candor and all you bring to this ezine. Your ezine is one of several I still subscribe to after years; always seems fresh.

Before subscribing, I thought that maybe finally there would be marketing and promotion information I could stomach and process
Yes, I was right! I love the ezine’s authenticity, irreverent humor, and valuable content that supports a new perspective in marketing and promotion. It is one I read and frequently return to. The writing is amazing! Thanks for your support in unraveling misbeliefs - an occasional chuckle - applicable ideas. This is an ezine for anyone who is stretching their consciousness - and anyone wanting frank and trustworthy approach to marketing and promotion - and life.

Rhonda Hull, Ph.D., Speaker and Author, Port Townsend, WA www.driveyourselfhappy.com

I find that the ezine applies to what is happening currently in my life, especially in regards to work. This just amazes me.
I thought this ezine would be more about personal growth, but it has turned into more about growing your work with a focus on sales and money. Yes there are things about personal growth like dealing with personal monsters to move forward, however I feel more of the content applies to my company than me. Anyway, the ezine makes me think more and go beyond my boundaries. My upper management group would greatly benefit from reading the ezine, but I am not sure they would be receptive as they are not willing to change based on past experiences. Thank you for doing the ezine. It has added value to my life.

Kim Wilkins, IT Manager, Norden,CA

I've never considered myself as a "sales person"
Molly, thanks so much for helping me shift my notion of "selling" and food for thought about how I promote my own businesses, since I've never considered myself as a "sales person"!

I always enjoy the main article, and I love the interesting tidbits and resources in the sidebar. I recently got the demo CD for Holosync, because I read about it in one of your sidebars. I liked the CD and am going to order the program this week as a birthday present for myself!

This is an ezine for anyone who wants a breakthrough in their thinking and actions about their business or the way they promote themselves personally.

Thanks for so faithfully and generously sharing your wonderful perspective, information and resources! I appreciate it :)

This ezine prompts me to think more deeply about what I'm doing
I've kept my subscription for more than three years. It's of value to me.  Molly’s ezine stimulates questions, causes me to look at more than surface motivations, and points me in the direction of further exploration. Anyone in a small business, but also anyone who provides customer service (I'm a federal employee) would certainly benefit from becoming a reader.

I can't even begin to tell you how many people I have passed your newsletter on to
I loved it the second I came upon it about five years ago, and I love it still today! I appreciate a sense of community in that my "issues" aren't mine alone - that others (you and those you write about) grapple with the same things in building a business.  I love most the refreshing honesty with which you reveal yourself - it inspires me to reveal myself to my peers and clients.

When I give myself permission to be "authentic" in whatever endeavor I undertake, it gives me a sense of peace, certainty, and confidence to trust in myself, the process, and the path. Thanks so much for tools for transformation to use myself, or to pass on to someone I know who might benefit.  I can't even begin to tell you how many people I have passed your newsletter on to. I even list it as a resource in my Pratt Fine Art business class.

Your newsletter helps me in a constant battle against short-sighted and ultimately more costly quick-and-easy solutions
My work involves persuading technical bureaucrats to invest in the design of data systems that will be of long-lasting value to the people of the state. Your newsletter helps me in a constant battle against short-sighted and ultimately more costly quick-and-easy solutions. I need to be a teacher to people who do not realize their need to be students.

In Molly’s writing, I like and find useful her ideas about how to present myself in a setting of persuading others to recognize things they are not naturally inclined to recognize, recognition that professional human relationships require continual assessment and maintenance, and interesting and amusing metaphors.

Those whose work involves a high level of personal interaction and the need to debate and resolve abstract or non-intuitive ideas would definitely benefit from becoming a reader.

Gordon Kennedy, IT Manager, Seattle, WA www.wsdot.wa.gov

Your eNewsletter has been a touchstone for me for about seven years now or more
I started getting them back when I was dreaming of self-employment during my 9-5 years, through the last few years of self-employment – my dream. The dream keeps shifting and changing and I am learning to surf with it and even love the change (why can that be so hard?). Thanks for being there over the years as a "belay" of sorts as I climb and make my way along the path.

Rhonda Aronwald, Writer, Photographer www.rkacommunications.com

The light came on. Now I know how to raise my prices. I've been looking for that explanation!
Your ezine changes my mind, makes me think, and changes my perception and my actions. For example, I have been selling on price. You changed my perception by telling me about selling on quality. The light came on. Now I know how to raise my prices. Thank you so much! I've been looking for that explanation! Keep on! I love your newsletter and I am so glad to know you're human too.  I go to all the links in each and every issue and check them out. I am so happy to have it, and I send it to my friends and recommend it.
